Festives | Responsibility | Sentosa Good happening Monday to all!! It is indeed a brand new Monday, a brand new week for all of us to go thru' yet again and anticipate the weekends. It is somehow going to be a much more special weekends as it will be an aidilfitri celebration for muslims around the globe. I can only imagine the festivities goin' on in all corners of the world. The difference in tradition in terms of food, music, culture and others. But the similarity is and has always been the same. Aidilfitri is to mark the victory or the success of a muslim's success in fasting for a full month. It is somehow going to be a much tuned down celebration for myself and the family. Dad is away in the philippines working and mom said that he might not be home for aidilfitri. This is a first time for me. Being the so called "second-in-command" of the family when dad isn't around is not fun ok. There is soooo many responsibilities that needs to be taken care of. Of course I won't shirk those responsibilities away. It is about time I learnt the ropes of the family. Not that I have only started learning but I've been trained to do this since secondary school when dad started embarking to countries such as Taiwan, Malaysia, Indonesia, Hong Kong and such. I am surviving, that's for sure! As I am typing these words down, getting my brain juices into flow, the light from the sun is starting to show. The sky in its light bluish tone with a speck of orange at the horizon....damn it is sucha beautiful day. Heh. I miss going to beach. I wanna grab a beach partner, in fact, I wanna find one. It has been an awfully long time since I last set toes on the sands of Sentosa. Way too long! Targeting for next month to do that! Weee!! The thought of beach makes me happy. Right now, I got to get ready for work and prepare myself for another mundane day in the office. Have a fantastic Monday peeps! See ya around this space pretty soon.
