Impromptu Raya I just returned home actually. What a monday. After 10 days out from work, coming back to office seems to take forever! Geez. Suddenly, I felt the train moving ever so slowly and the destination, Paya Lebar, seems so far away! Sheeesh! I cannot even fall to sleep properly. Urgh! And no pretty girls onboard...what's happening? Hmph! Anyways, the reason I was home late was due to an impromptu raya visit to Sis Wani's place. It was Rosny, Ishak and myself. Very out of the blue visit I must say. But very entertaining I must say. All thanks to ishak's slenger-ness. There's always something wrong with that boy that can open up a whole length of topic. Really. By 10+, we were out on the way home. Sis Aishah, who came by at about 9pm, drove the 3 stooges boys home. Thank you many2! Hhehhehe! Well, that's about all I have for today. Clueless It is already a Saturday. My long holiday is gonna end soon. And I must say, it feels rather refreshing to for awhile, get your mind off work. Hopefully I come back rejuvenated and have plenty of brilliant ideas to share. First things first, let's hope my words are being taken seriously. On second thought, my colleagues at work very RARELY talk serious. Ader je nak merepek! Hahahaha! 4 days without blogging aye. There's nothing you missed about my life. Apart from a quiet aidilfitri due to dad not around, I've been bumping around doing dad's role as head of the family. Can I just be a child again? It is soooo damn tiring. I wanna concentrate on doing my own stuffs rather than worrying about taxes, bills and what nots. No idea when will dad be back. I pray it to be soon? Amin! The night air seem rather stale. Lebaran 2009! The aftermath of the first two days of raya is taking a toll on me. And unlike others, I am lucky enough to be on off till wednesday. Thursday is the official day to start work. But uhhhm, I am thinking, of taking leave. How? If I do that, work only starts on Monday. Yeayness to the maximus!! I will be jolly well happy like bird alrite. Since fasting month is over, I really need to top up my pantry stocks in office. Coffee mixture finish. Cup noodles finish. Teh also finish. How da? Maybe I will go to NTUC tomorrow and get some. I can't wait to pour drinks in office. Damn glass is getting dusty already! Hmph! And also lunch! I can't wait to do lunch! I wanna go haig road to eat! Or or Joo Chiat! So many places tau! Happpening if you are working in geylang. LOL! So everyone is back to the grind of work today. I am not. I am bored but somehow I know that with the press of a button, I can tune in to my favourite tv show! Hee. Once I do that, rest assured, I won't be out of the house for a long time. Heh. Salam Lebaran! As the sound of takbir echoes through the air this morning, I can't help but feel very emotional. Somehow someway, takbir Aidilfitri ALWAYS find ways to break the resolve of man, no matter how strong they are. It oozes sucha a calming, peaceful and mind-freeing feeling I must say. No words can describe it. So this morning, Nas and I, we went for our solat aidifitri at the void deck nearby. The crowd was ok at first but grew as the start time which is 8:30am drew near. Lucky enough, we were there right around 7:40am? Yeahh. So we managed to get a spot to seat. And as I seat there, the mind went elsewhere. Sheeeesshh! The images of two people whom I can't celebrate with this year crossed my thoughts. They were DAD and Allahyarhamha Noyang. Noyang has passed on to lead a better fulfilling life years ago. But her presence still lingers. Dad is thousand of kilometres away from home, in the philippines, working. I do not really know when will he be back. Hopefully during Raya? Heh. I can't help but miss the presence of both of them... Well, on a lighter and much happier note, Nas and I, once we were done with prayers, made a beeline to sastisfy our first craving! And that is MacDonald's breakfast! HEHEHEEHE! Damn I didn't know that hotcakes is sooo yummy! Obviously it has been way too long since I had breakfast at Maccies! Haha! The hashbrown & coffee also happening la. Happy happy me! Hee. Now I am home and the family is all still lazing around. Will only be going to nenek house after zuhur. Therefore, took the chance to meet my dear dear Lily cause the girl is clumsy enough to drop her camera on the eve of raya and now that thing won't function. Geeez. So up comes the darling to me and lucky enough I still have my Viewty with me. It has been a very good servant to me eh that phone. So 5MP camera for backup is not bad at all ok. Hee. And so the girl came to my place to get it from me, and damn the song akon "beautiful" kept going on in repeat. Hahaha! She was in red la tu maknenek. Very pretty! Heh heh. Da da, save the praise when she is in pink. *winks* Right now I am going to iron my black baju kurung! Or should I get sis to do it? Hmmm...okay sis does it! I am gonna go do something else. Wettie Sattie When my work calendar is like this...  and I am blessed with a weather like THIS....   tell me one thing. Why do I need a girlfriend? HAHAHAHHA!! I am in serious need of some jabs up here in my skull! Sheeessh! Ramadhan is drawing to a close in hours to come. It was good while it last. The commotion of doing iftar in mass numbers; making new friends along the way, walking pass the glorious arrays of food everyday when going to work and most of all...the ibadah that was done thruout the month. It has been a good Ramadhan for me. And celebrating it, while working in a Muslim organization of course without a doubt has tripled up my quest to be a much better person. Hehehehhe! A One Man Show I just do not know what else to do with life. Really. I find myself wasting time being online whenever I am home. Trying to make friends via facebook and then attempt to do a meetup and be the bestest friend alive. I find myself pathetic for doing that. Minutes ago, I asked myself all these questions. Why and why and so much why. But no answers can be generated. It just feels like being a friend to the world and nothing more that that IS my destiny. Hopefully one day, or soon, someone will come and play the role of saviour, for once. =) Ouh well, I am heading to bed early. Although work starts at 12pm, I still need my sleep. A Whose Who Birthday Tuesday is almost gone and there is nothing awesome to report. Just another one of those random carefree days I suppose. The only upside about today is that I got awesome documentaries and movies from my colleague at work. And damn I use the time well to copy the ones I am interested into my lappy. Wooowooowooooo! Since Tuesday and yesterday was a drag, how bout I talked Sunday? It was September the 13th and we decided to celebrate the birthdays of two of the most important individuals that I really matters to me. Nas's came to life on September 11 while Shaikhah's is September 16. So, holding a double whammy is pretty much part of the plan. The twist is this. Nas was told that we would be celebrating Shaikhah's birthday while Shaikhah was told that we are gonna celebrate Nas's birthday. I am not sure about Andi...but keeping hush with the boys is no easy feat okay. Nas & Ummar were constantly asking question of where to eat, what time and all bla bla bla. Yours truly just responded with an "I don't know" and blamed Andi for "not telling me". Hahahhaha! So Ummar & Nas were brought to a wild goose chase. We reached Dhoby Ghaut, early around 5pm and simply went browsing thru' gramophone. Afterwhich, 3 of us went to do our Asar at Bencoolen Mosque nearby and after that, return BACK to The Cathay. Initially I suggested to simply sit outdoor, but damnnnnn the weather is going out in full force to make all of us sweat like a pig! Sheeeessh! Three of us retreated into the cathay and had a seat at the koi "pond" at the basement. And little did we know, we were facing a pole dancing school! Wowoweeeee!! Imagine the words, the expressions, the hands movement, facial expressions that were on display when they see this cute specsy lady went round and round erotically at the pole. Batal puasa budak2 nie. Me at the meantime was trying aggressively to get a wireless connection to go facebook!! Yeahhh I know. You can now start to spam me with your 3-line emoticons. HAHAHHAHA!! Facebook is simply sooooo addictively attractive.I Hehehe! Once the time was right, I led them to none other than Mad Jack @ POMO which is at selegie! Razak, Desi, Ica, Mak Sam, Sha were already there by then. Perfect timing. Waited for Andi and RIo to get the birthday cake and upon arrival, order our food! By then, I swoe I felt like a peasant! Hmph! So hungry!! Everybody had different food. Ummar took up the challenge of the tallest burger in town.Desi had a swan river chick. Mine was NewZealand Ribeye, Nas beef lasagne, Ica & Andi had Fish & Chips Regular & Fish & Chips Premiumr respectively. Razak's was grilled chicken while I can't remember what Sha and Andi's mom had. Urgh! I got only one word to describe the food. DELICIOUS!! I am soooo going to come back there again somewhere in the near future. That's a guarandamntee ok. Hehe! Great company with ridiculous memorable crazy attitude from us. It was just an marvellous dinner! Everyone was done with dinner in half and hour? Yeahhh and then we decide to bring out the cake and made it clear that we are celebrating TWO birthdays! I should have captured Nas's and Shaikhah's suprised emotion eh. Tsk! Nas received an UNFORGIVABLE present while Sha was credited with Chomel and an eyore? Hehehhe! And ouh, they were made to wear a ridiculous looking sunglass! HAHAHHAHA! Here's where Mad Jack made my mind wanna come back for more! After singing birthday song, one of the staff came over to provide paper plates for us and on top of that. gave a complimentary chocolate cake smothered with Vanilla ice cream! Yummehhh! Some photo snaps followed suit and it was home sweet home for all of us. A simple yet funfilled evening with the extended family. Hee. That's about........IT I guess. Yeah, I think it is. Festives | Responsibility | Sentosa Good happening Monday to all!! It is indeed a brand new Monday, a brand new week for all of us to go thru' yet again and anticipate the weekends. It is somehow going to be a much more special weekends as it will be an aidilfitri celebration for muslims around the globe. I can only imagine the festivities goin' on in all corners of the world. The difference in tradition in terms of food, music, culture and others. But the similarity is and has always been the same. Aidilfitri is to mark the victory or the success of a muslim's success in fasting for a full month. It is somehow going to be a much tuned down celebration for myself and the family. Dad is away in the philippines working and mom said that he might not be home for aidilfitri. This is a first time for me. Being the so called "second-in-command" of the family when dad isn't around is not fun ok. There is soooo many responsibilities that needs to be taken care of. Of course I won't shirk those responsibilities away. It is about time I learnt the ropes of the family. Not that I have only started learning but I've been trained to do this since secondary school when dad started embarking to countries such as Taiwan, Malaysia, Indonesia, Hong Kong and such. I am surviving, that's for sure! As I am typing these words down, getting my brain juices into flow, the light from the sun is starting to show. The sky in its light bluish tone with a speck of orange at the horizon....damn it is sucha beautiful day. Heh. I miss going to beach. I wanna grab a beach partner, in fact, I wanna find one. It has been an awfully long time since I last set toes on the sands of Sentosa. Way too long! Targeting for next month to do that! Weee!! The thought of beach makes me happy. A Monday Escape What a day! I feel so damn tired that my back felt like crumbling each time i tried to bend or stretch. And there's a sound when I did those stretches okay! Not funny! Hmph! I saw a massage parlor at gek poh and thought of doing it this coming weekend. But nooooo, weekend simply have to be so damn filled with activities. Lemme see. Saturday I got iftar, a last one for this year at Darul Arqam. The fourth iftar, I am going to go all out and for sure, will have an awesome time with the boys. The job will be tiring but never fail to be entertaining and full of laughter and crappiness. That is a guarantee. Hehhehe! Then sunday is a meetup with Legacy. That spells all the words in the English vocabulary that equals fun. I can't wait for that either. So ya see, with the blink of an eye, the weekend is gone and up pop Monday and back to the grind in the office. So basically, no lazy day in bed for me. Which is good in a way where mom will stop asking me questions like why am I home on my off days and not out there looking for a girlfriend and even a ridiculous but interesting question, why am I not out with Lily?? -_-" Seriously, what is wrong with you people eh??? Sheeessh! Put facts on facts, Lily in my opinion is gorgeous in her own rights. ONE just ONE thing that attracts me to that girl is that dimplish smile she carries. Eh slenger I am proclaiming for the world to see ok. Your smile make me cair can? Hahahhahaha! I hope you wear an extra large undergarment, so you can start expanding now. LOL! Okay okay, back to the topic...both Lily and I are besties. Thats about it. I mean we hug, we hold each other in a way that we care for one another so much that strangers looked at us as an item. I can go on and on about the words and rumors that both of us has generate over the years. The boys that she gets to know ask her about me and the girls I get to know, ask me about her. Damn. And now, we found ourselves in a spot where falling in love is simply an option. Sheeesh! This is badddd. Anyways, summary for the previous Monday (7th Sep '09): Fiza, Fahmi, Aidil, Nas, Lily and yours truly.....we went to break fast together. Initiation of the whole thing again boils down to me, next time you all plan pulak ok! Hmph! So it was done at Bussorah Street, Amirah's Grill. Food was splendidly AWESOME!! I think I am gonna come back for more. That's for sure! After that, since ALL of us stay westside, we headed to do some karaoke at Partyworld KTV at Clementi. Price is awesome and the room, HAPPENING! So monday, we ended up reaching home at almost 3am and Tuesday was a working day which starts at 9am! Sheeesh! Zombified I tell ya! It is pretty much close to midnight and one of my best mates is celebrating his 25th birthday. None other than NAS! Hahahhaha September 11 is sucha bang, especially with the attack on the twin towers few years back! By any means, stay cheeful carefee and kinky my man. Things will be fine for you in life. Up To Date Okay...just a short update of what has been going on as of late. I am still single. That is stale news. Had new experience yesterday. First was dinner, my first time at Amirah's Grill. Absolutely delicious! Then after that is an awesome service ktv called "Partyworld". It is at clementi, so it seems that in the near future we won't go all the way to MNG Arcade to make a fool out of ourself. Heh. Ouh gosh, this so soo random. Character check As I take a step back and observe individuals in a much in-depth perspective, it left and gave me sucha disgusting taste in the mouth. Indeed some of THESE people are sooooo bloody damn full of themselves. I cannot make up something in my mind on what are they trying to prove. It is more sick when they start to use their seniority or "rank" to blast people. And then came the pathetic comeback phrases like "not my problem what" or or "i don't see my name in the list so on auto mode, I don't need to do anything". I hate taking potshots, because it clearly does not benefits anyone. But this is an exceptional case. I hate receiving email of this kind. I bet some of you might be lost on what am I blabbering about. Don't worry. It is with the best of interest that you don't know who or what am I talking about. But whoever FEELS this entry of mine, hey I damn well won't apologise. Just shut those trap and move on. I won't make noise online, on reality, whatever man. Mundane-ness I miss blogging. Really. I love to rant and talk about anything and everything under the sun ya know. But as of late, I have been finding my mind being decorated with question marks when I opened up blogger. Maybe because things have been on routine cycle and there is nothing fun to talk about. Hmmmm... But with that being said, there IS something to talk about right now. I am a total noob when it comes to places along arab street and such. So when the guys at work, brought me to eat around the area, I go woah at some of the places. There is soooo much places which I have YET to try and sink my teeth into. These taste buds of mine are begging to be serve something new. So look out Bussorah Street, I am coming in with my calvary! Huahuahua! Tomorrow is already a Friday. I feel like going out for dinner. Hmm...should I? It has been two days since I break fast at home but it is a FRIDAY! I miss going out on Friday, or should I say Frideedaideedaidee-day! Yeay! It has been awhile since I last went shopping. Grabbing new pants, tops, accessories! AJ loikes! I just need a company. Okay maybe I don't. But it would be great to have a laugh with someone.
