Future Glimpse It is really raining heavily outside. What a splendid and awesome way to spend the time, indoor and simply cuddle up under your quilt, with the lappie right infront of you and psp on the right. At the moment, I am enjoying every bit of my FREE unemployed days to the maximum of its capability. I am not going to whine and cry and curse swear or anything, I guess I have to silently wait and pray that I can and will have something by end of the month, latest april. By april...I dread to think about it. Haaa... Yesterday! It was indeed a classic for watchmen! I totally enjoyed the movie. The first few part was soo intense and it gets complicated towards the middle. So I guess, if you are the kind who don't like to think when watching a movie, please don't waste your 10 buckaroos. I have alot of questions in my mind and as the movie goes on, I was deeply questioning myself and looking for answers. I ain't sure if this would be a girl's kind of movie. Hhehehe!! Talking about girls, women to be exact. The boys were flanked by two of them yesterday. Haha! Andi & Ummar were with their potential wifes. Andi and Shaikhah would be tying the knot come May this year while Ummar and Nisa would have theirs sometime in 2010. More or less, yesterday's outing was a mini glimspe of how our future outing would look like. Of course maybe one or twice there MIGHT be a boy's outing but a family outing sounds more appropriate as each of us grow older. Geez, I got goosebumps thinking of this but the excitement is THERE. It was however a quick one touch quick go affair I must say. Each of them had things to do and some of us excluding ME, had to work the next day. Andi and Sha were out surveying travel agencies for the planned honeymoon. Then Ummar and Nisa was from GOD knows where. That is left with yours truly and his psychic, Nas. We made our way first to Marina Square and collected our tickets first as I had done the booking online. Boy am I GLAD that I did that, cause the queue was simply unbelievable! By 440, everyone was there. Bought our fooooood and endured a run of 15 minutes of ads and trailers, before switching on the thinking cap for the movie. There was some funny moments in the movie. And sexual scenes as well BUT the one that got me rattled was, when Ms Jupiter and the Owl guy were about to make love, Ummar shouted, "Ahhhh MAIN!". Andi didn't heard it, but Nas and I did and we were like, "Ummmmmaaaarrr". Nisa beside him was I think laughing(?) and I shudder to think what the two ladies in front of him in tudung would think. Bahhhhh. Ouh, there were some gore scenes in the movie too. Like breaking neck, bones, arms cut off. Very graphically disturbing but there is this particular scene which disturbs me. When Dr. Manhattan makes love and then do work at the same time. He simply multiplied himself, which means, he is in the lab doing research while another TWO of him is in bed with his lover. Of course, the lover doesn't take it too well I must say. Hahaha! Who would anyway?! Would you want twenty fingers run all over your body? Yikes!! 162 minutes, that's how long the runtime is and it got my bum strained. Sheesshh!Anyways, we had dinner at the food court and Ummar had his Naan which I've never seen before. It looks nice, probably ONE day I can go to Little India and try the original one. Hehehe!Everyone got home then since Andi, Shaikhah and Nas were working the following morning. It was a lovely time spent with the close people to me. Couldn't ask for more. Hopefully the next time we do this, Nas and me would have a partner instead of each other. Pffttt!!
