Flu-bug / The Distance / Wishes

Hey darlings! How has each and every single one of you been doin huh? Great? For your info, I am not in the best of health. In details, I caught the flu bug! It started with a sore throat which I tried to run it off but then it progressed into a runny nose. Right now as I am typing this, I got that feverish feeling! Urgh!

It really doesn't do me any favour that the office is really very very cold. I won't dare to bring a thermometer to measure the room temperature. Sheesshh! On the topic of office, it has been a week. And I don't know. I STILL don't quite like the journey. Especially the part where I have to walk a long distance to Paya Lebar MRT. If the office is at Singapore Post, I think I won't complain so much. Hmmm...

So today I received my letter of appointment. Every looks fine on paper but everytime some of the HODs come asking me, "How is it going brothere?", I simply went "ok". Should I declare that I am finding the distance to be far? Should I? I don't mind the workload. Environment wise, well let's put it this way, my purpose is to work and that's it. Clock strike 6, I'm outta there. So more or less, I am trying my utmost best to accustom myself to everything. Only that walking part from mrt to the workplace. Geez. Imagine if it's raining! My goodness. THAT would be worst! Yikes!

Anyways, I will attempt not to complain and whine too much. I gotta thank GOD that I have a career now. Where I go from here, only HE knows. What I know, is that I already have a couple of goals in mind. A driving licence and a degree. I hope with my current job, I can obtain both without the help of mom and dad. Heh.

Right, I gotta get outta here and take my medication and have an early night. My body doesn't feel too good, prolly of the unaccustomed travel up and down the east west line. Hehe! I'll talk to you all soon, till then...take care darlings! You know you love me...
