An Unseen Melody

Hey it's me, AJ. On a Tuesday evening, tuning in to 91.3FM's The Married Men. I got my favourite shows from 3 different stations. Morning being "The Morning Express With Glenn Ong & The Flying Dutchman". Then from 10am to 2pm, it's Double Expresso with Harry on Power 98. To end the radio day, is like I mentioned, 91.3 The Married Men. I've yet to find something I like for the night time. Hmmmm...

Anyways, I got a rather startling message in my friendster account yesterday night. I don't know if it was a virus going on (with people commenting me with images of webcams) but this particular message looked authenthic enough. Ouh well, at least there was a smiley face.

I'm waiting for lil ms shorty Lily here to come to my place so that I could burn her the season 2 of Gossip Girl. Lily being the marvellous one is taking all the time in the world to mandi, get ready, eat and even have the time to change blog skin! Blahhhhh. We'll probably end up chillaxing somewhere at night. And yes girl you CAN drag me to style you up for *ahem ahem* your "Chris Brown" k? Hehehehe!!

My main objectives for this post is to talk about something. Something that is concerning to what most people think, is the most delicate part of a human, the heart. I am not going to discuss rocket science here but uhhm, how do you know that the girl/boy of your dream is there right in front of you? When will you notice him/her? Will it be too late if you don't? Can friendship keep you blind from love? Is it possible?

Do you go up to that someone who caught the eyes of your heart with every intention of wanting to make them your other half? Obviously, it would be very obvious, obnoxious and worst, freak the fella out.

But trying to be friends with them, there's a limitations of how a date would go about if you're looking from a friendship point of view. Can friends kiss? Hold hands? I pretty much doubt so. But falling in love with a friend whom you have known for awhile is very ok. Trust me. Nothing beats the fact that both of you are good friends, have known each other inside out and have that basic foundation to move on to the next level.

Just how a tall building needs a very stable base which at times took years to build, that's how a relationship works. Maybe some people are lucky but frankly speaking, most of us need to put that hard work and sacrifices to make things work. Leading a single life and attached is different. Obviously the friends whom maybe you've spent most of your time with, will have to make way so that you can spend time with the bf/gf. Unwilling to make sacrifices would only result in major downfall. Trust me.

Of course I'm not asking you to ditch your friends. Cause when things goes bad, friends are the ones that breaks your fall. So balancing friends and love is a major playing factor alrite.

So back to my earlier paragraph. How do we know the he/she is the one? What if we're too blind to notice? As cliche as this sounds, only you and your heart can know and feel if he/she is the worthy one for you. Alrite?
