A Toddler Remix Good evening fellow darlings, have your weekends started yet? I know mine hasn't but if you include Fridee night as a weekend, then it has got off to an effin' good start then. I had an amazing boys night out and throw another 2 beautiful girlfriends and an adorable toddler into the mix, made the holiday season a much more gloryful affair. That pretty much described my time yesteday. Casual, straightforward and enjoyable. It all started with 3 of us in the train, once again in the tunnel doing mind mapping of places to eat. Yours truly Threes, were all on strict budget. Andi's saving up for marriage, Nas for his PSP and a new mobile, then me trying to get thru another month of lazing around at home. But I saw a T-Mobile handphone which I wanna get so we'll see how that pans out. Of all the places to be in Singapore, we ended up among the crowds in town. Oh the horror!! The millions and gazillions of people simply thronged the streets filling up every single corners of Orchard Road. Terrible. From the foreigners to the Singaporeans, from young to old, from hip hop to rock. It's like every single creature is there. Even shemales were enjoying the festive season. Not that I have anything against them though. My point is...people many many over there!! Walking fast is an impossible trade. Really. So we had to just cruise by slowly admiring the festive mood of the year. And as much as I complained about the crowd, it's nice to see that it's so peaceful and happy down here. Harmony. I think that is the beauty of Singapore and her people. Lucky Plaza, Ayam Penyet Ria was our destination. It has been an awfu long time since I last crashed that place for the ayam penyet. The chilli, yikes! Simply the best and hot hot heat!! Andi got sweats and Nas got nose pipe leak! Me? I'm strong with Chilli! Huahuahua!! Just alil heaty in the tummy that's all. Once we're done with dinner, we went to Heeren to meet the darlings! But not before making a stop to a ice cream stall for a cuppa ice cream to cool the chilli heat down. It was literally simmering in our blood! Gawdd!! Meeting Tubby and Shazlyn was a long long long awaited affair for me. The last time I saw these girls was in October I think. Hmm. How much I missed them, no one is capable enough to pen down the feelings into words!! And the bonus is, ALEY was tagging along!! Hahaaaaa like finally!! Alas, I gotta meet the girl wonder herself. In her own cute lil package and adorable adorable poses. How social can a toddler get huh? I've seen plenty of toddlers. Friendly ones and scaredy cats ones. And this particular one, should be on the face of a pampers ad ok! I think she will absolutely love the photoshoots!! Really. We were snapping pictures, and she simply wanted more. Like how we took pictures and then looked at them and go "eh it's so nice", she did that too! In her own words which only she can understand of course. Haahhaha!! And while not snapping, she would take my cell and snapped pictures of herself which didn't happen cause her hands are all over the place pressing all the wrong buttons. But the intelligence and charisma to do all that, made everyone which passed by her and trying hard to avoid knocking her down (this aley was standing in the middle of a walkway and like in a world of giants, she just gazed at the people from head to toe) says how cutttteeee. Buddy Shazlyn was of course having a hard time dealing with her at home. Only she knows how this lil fella can throw a tantrum. Buddy and Tubby made a move to deposit Aley to her mom whois working nearby, and we exchanged hugs and goodbyes before making a seperate journey. Aley was of course being very cute AGAIN by turning and trying to wave while holding on to her Dora! Hehehehe!! Nas, Andi and me ended up walking towards Dhoby Ghaut, chilled out somewhere and made a move before 11. I don't know why but uhm I think age is playing catchup with us. We were talking bout this in the train and it's kinda scary. 11 and 3 of us were VERY tired and have started yawning already. We used to be able to do long nights and still have plentiful of energy but now, it's eat and relax. But THAT itself can make us tired. I hate growing old. Gahhh. Darn it, I don't look 24 at times. Pffft! Right, so it's just pass 6 and I've yet to have news from friends for a night out. I'm unsure of what my plans will be for tonight but I do hope it will be fun. If not, I'll prolly take another day off from going out on a weekend. Haaa, everywhere will be packed anyway. You guys and girls, make sure TRY to have fun tonight. Be safe rather than sorry. And guys, be nice to the ladies please. Don't forget the rubber if any of you plan to go extreme tonight! Hahaha! I'll take my leave now, the pictures of yesterday is still under editing, so maybe I'll post them tomorrow or earliest tonight instead.
