Noyang We Miss You



Dear Noyang, it has been two years since you left us. Ever since that day, celebrating Aidilfitri has never been the same. Honestly, I don't find myself as happy as I was back two years ago. Two years. Somehow I felt I was sitting by your side on the bed a week ago. I still saw you in my dreams. And as I was daydreaming staring into the dusk just now hearing the takbir, it's like you were there behind me. Patting me. And giving me that sooooo adorable no teeth smile. Hehheheeh!!

It hurts me so much that I wasn't there when you breathe your last breadth. But then again, I don't know if I could sustain the emotional trauma, if I were to be there. AJ loves you so much. I hope all my prayers before my sleep help you one way or another. May your afterlife be a perfect one ok. The whole family misses you. I MISSES YOU. Noyang, you're my heroine, always have always will be. AMIN.

On a lighter note now, I wanna take this oppurtunity to wish all my friends a Slamat Hari Raya Aidilfitri, minta ampun dan maaf zahir dan batin. Forgive AJ, for being suchan idiot and a pain in the ass ok. Hehhehee! Enjoy yourself tomorrow baby! Eat and eat and eat and drink all the colour drinks! She's Back!!



Laylaylaydies and gentlemen! My baby, none other thet vivalicious Britney Spears, is back on the right track (and let's hope it stays that way for awhile). Following her triple coup at the VMAs this year, hoho this hottie mama of 2 has released her brand NEW single from her upcoming brand NEW album, Circus. The single titled "Womanizer" has a strong ear drumming vibes which I tell ya, would make you go on your knees begging for a replay. Check it out right now ok. And of course, go pause my current music first. Don'ttt be an idiot trying to listen to two songs at once eh. Hahaha!!




Check out this one too. Titled "Candy From Strangers" and it's featuring Laze Royal, is fast becoming one of my favourite tracks in my jukebox. Really. That groovy attitude. That mix of electronic and RNB mashed up into one. Yikes! I hope Singapore brings Britney into concert! Please!!

Summary week 28092008



Her last appearance on the TV screen was 2003. Buffy The Vampire Slayer was an awesome series and personally, following the likes of Roswell, Prison Break, Smallville and Heroes, it is STILL one of my all time favourite TV series. I could still recall sitting at home during my secondary school days and not missing a single episode of this 8 seasons long drama. Apart from the fact that Sarah Michelle Gellar (SMG) was one of TV's favourite daughter, damn I think she's a good looker too, considering that she has touched her 30s now. Good gracious! And now, as reported in TV.com, this blonde yummylicious star will be starring in a new TV series, Maladys. Ahuh. I can't wait for the premiere. The pilot episode will start shooting next year. Hoho!

Anyhoos, can I just recapped my weekends in say 3 4 sentences? Cool. Friday, I was out alone after work and decided to drop by and catch a glimpse of the F1. My lucky day, I got a FREE ticket. I'll explain that. Saturday, I spent time with my TV in my room watching the fourth season of prison break. I got heroes season 3 and smallville season 8 on deck. Avid fans of these shows, you can always drop me your external hard disk ok. Kekeke!! Sunday looks to be a no brainer. I'm planning to go to IMM or perhaps Jurong Point in search of erm a computer stuff. Prolly get a haircut too. *shrugs*

I should head to bed now. Geez, I can't believe I'm up at 4 in the morning. Urgh. Blame my late intake of coffee. Smarty pants! Tsk. Well, make sure you have a fantastic Sunday and I am soooo looking forward to watching the inaugural Singapore Grand Prix. The world's first night race!! It sure promises to be a blast!! Can't wait. F1 Fever



It's the F1 fever baby! The cars are out in half force doing their practice on the tracks. A friend told me that she's able to hear the sounds of the unbelievable machines from her office. And where is her office? Tanjong Pagar! Good gracious. I can't imagine those peopl who are THERE on the tracks. Geez. I am soooo going to find ways to catch a glimspe of the cars. Never mind the race, I just wanna see these cars in motion, FAST!

The piercing sound of the revved up engine being pushed to its limits, the aero dynamics as it cuts thru the wind and humidity, the smell of the burnt rubber mashed up against the tar. Ouh my goodness. I'm a adrenalin addict and I have always love fast stuffs. Damn! I simply can't wait for the world's FIRST night race!! Jyeahh cmon Ferrari!! Ahuh, the scarlet red mobile is my favourite since the era of Schumi baby!

The plan to hit out with Nas got backfired today as the lady was down with flu and fever. Ouh well, you get well soon babe, better to be sick now before Hari Raya comes into full swing. And I guess the mood IS in full swing already. The last weekend of puasa is here. I bet geylang would be jam packed with people doing last minute bargains. Obviously, I'm staying away. Too many sweaty people. Eeeei! Hahahaha!! Well with that being said, I think the backfiring is a blessing.

Here's my new plan now. Go buke alone somewhere(I ain't new to this ok), then walked around and TRY to find unsolicited place with view of prolly one of the many turns of the tracks. IF I find a spot, I'll let you guys know....NOT! Hahahah! For once ehh, I'm going to be selfish and keep this GOLD to myself. I'll take picture if you don't mind. Hahaha! Gahhh, I am sooo filled with anticipation for this one. As I flipped thru TODAY's edition, they showed the tracks from an aerial view. Shut up! It's sucha killer track and it's really gonna be interesting how the drivers will do battle in one of the most challenging tracks ever. The weather and timing factor plays a part too so yeah, really interesting as to how things will panned out this weekend.

I gotta run now. People, stay away from City Hall area if you can. Cause obviously for sure, the whole of esplanade and flyer is a no access to public. And so many road closures that you can hardly get around without making a detour. So, advice is stay away. If you must, best would be the Citylink. Well that's it. Have a joyous fanatical weekends. Those whois going to raceday, damn you're super lucky!! Stay safe darling, I love you I need you. Much peace and love be upon you. See ya!

Outing w NasLy 20092008




When the early morning weather looks like this, it really gave you that dreaded feeling of going to work. ONE, you'll be wet. TWO, it's better to SLEEP. THREE, the crowd would be more and more going "tsk tsk tsk". So there ya go. I was literally dragging my ass as if it was weighing a tonne!! Geez. It was pouring and pouring by the time I left home. Ya know what's worst? When I was walking at the pavement to my workplace, two buses SPED.....SPED past over a PUDDLE OF WATER. Now, go imagine the splash both huge machine made!! Golly! My pants got drenched!! What a start to a midweek eh! Tskk!! Ignorant asswipes.

Midweek wednesday was A-ok. I got busy with work. Rushing deadlines and what not. Of course yours truly always came out tops with the goods eh. Time against AJ, AJ wins! Huahuahua!! That's one thing. Let's hope I got my data all right! Now THAT would be a boost. Heh. By the way, shall I story saturday's happenings? Hmm prolly just a summary eh. I'm pretty sure you're more interested in pictures rather than lengthy words.

So, I was out with Nas around 4. He kinda accompanied me to Sim Lim for me to get my media jukebox. Damn, I loveeee my new gadget. No needs for DVD player now. Straight from the external to the 23" Akira TV baby! Wooohooo!! Happening a ding dong can? At least mom won't be making sooo ear deafening lectures about me watching my shows on my lappie. She's just too traumatised that this one might explode like my previous one. Hahaha!!

On the way there, Nas received a call from his crush. A crush whom he had for like forever. Her name's Faye. She called him saying, "Eh, I saw amir at bugis!!!". Nas was errrm "You saw Amir? Then you never see me!?". They laughed and they were trying to look for us. Lo and behold, they were just across the streets luh. Can you imagine us talking over the phone and waving2 to each other. Apparently, I got to know Faye and her sister, online and we've never met. And yesterday was the first ever time we saw them. Nice to see you girls ehh.

Bla bla yadddadeedeyyduu, Lily called around 5 and melalak to me! Okay not melalak. Just bumped out that she's strapped at home with no company to go out with. On a saturday ehh! I can't possibility let this sweets of mine stay home and cry all day so....yesh you know. I found her in my arms by buke time. How nice. Lucky sempat buke eh! Haha!

Magic Wok was the destination and we had a $48 worth spread of delicious cuisine I tell ya. An absolute amazing dinner. It's all shared amongst us so yeah, can be considered affordable. Nas and Lily had their pineapple rice. I had Fried Rice with Belachan. Shiok! Lining the table up was pandan leaf chicken, sambal kangkong, baby squid and lemon chicken. Sheesshh! Talk about being hungry ehh. This Lily bought until two cups of Sprite!!

3 of us dragged our biggy bloated tummy outta there and just went walking away like some drunkard. No where to go and we kinda just wanna relax and stay away from the crowd. Therefore, we ended up a t Maui Wowi. I'm starting to love this place. The drinks uber nice. There's cocktail ehh! This Lily ever so tempted hor! Sheessh! We literally just lazed around exchanging lil jokes. I can fall asleep at the chair. Comfy2!! We made our move by 1130 and reached home around 12++. I had an amazing time with my boy and girl. Nothing could have been better. I wanna do an outing again, SATURDAY! *chuckles*

Just One Of Those Moments

I'm a huge huge fan of youtube. And there's one scene from Smallville which somehow I can't get my head to just wash away. Well, I don't wanna say much but uhhm, take a look at this one ok. It's one of those really feeling moments where I literally tried to hold back tears. And I seldom have to this when watching teevee ok. Haahaha! It's a really powerful scene. You guys just try and watch it...

Fridee 19092008

Eyh! I had a roller coaster shiokening weekend luh can?! Hahaa!! I was over the moon on both Friday and Saturday but come Sunday, after 11pm, Chelsea just had to spoil abit of my weekend ehh. Tsk! Yeah3, I'm referring to my favourite soccer team, Manchester United who could only afford a draw at the bridge. Geez. C'mon devils!

As expected, my frideedaideeday went awesome. First I got my beloved tubby in one hands and then buddy joined us for the rest of the night. It was psychodelically goood. My oh my, I wanna have this kinda Friday weekly is that ok? Puhhleeasssee! More more fun for my dosage of laughter shots!!! Such was the entertainment I had, that my flu didn't bother me at all luh. And this was only my friday. Saturday was a whole ladda story. Haha!!

Supposedly, meeting time was 7pm but tubby tubby tubby just had to make a grand appearance at 745pm!! Yikes!! Luckily enough, I've already bought my favourite drink, that milk tea, for breaking fast. I'm ok with the hunger apparently. Just thirsty. Ahuh. Once my cute lil brat arrived, ouh my she gave me that puppy eyes which made me think twice about throwing timbaland ehh. Hahaha!! We had dinner at Banquet. Tubby ordered baked rice while I had my NZ Rib Eye. The portion was abit small but uhm I somehow got full. *shrugs* The teh susu was nice and darn! I forget that I wanna eat the Kway Teow there. Sheesshh!!

Ouh did I mentioned to you beautifuls, that we went to Vivo? Yeahh, we did. After dinner, we went on a rendezvous, in search of tubby who wants to go shopping for a handbag!! Nyeahaha! That girl uh, once got money in her hands, tends to splurge till the bank account left nanda. Zilch! Hahaha!! We went round and round Vivo umpteen times in search of a nice handbag that is within tubby's budget and lo and behold, it's lying there waiting at Mango. Huahuahua! Some serious posing and considerations, the lady grabbed and here comes the irritating part. Tubby asked for a new one. And the new ones seems to have defects in terms of zips and extra extra thread kinda thing. She kept asking for a new one until the fifth piece I think? Then it was perfect. Heh. Susah betul nie girls shopping antiques eh. Hee.

Once we're done with the aftermath, we just had a chillout session at the top. It's a weird feeling cause literally everywhere I saw couples just snuggling up to one another. And then there was me and tubby. Weird weird feeling. Awwwhh how I miss snuggling up to a loved one by the neck and then stay there. Tsk!

Anyway, we just talked and talked and talked about so damn many things. From marriage to boys and girls, to mats minahs, ahbengs ahlians, everything under the sun. We even did holiday planning for coming December. MAYBE heading genting? Hmmm. We'll see. It's the monsoon season during December at Genting right? Correct me if I'm wrong k. Thankies!!

We fetched buddy who was working at Vivo's Club Marc and headed to Clarke Quay's Club Marc Cafe where we spend 95% of the time laughing with a lady whom buddy called Nanny. Hahaha! Such a colorful character luh she. She kept teasing tubby and I told you, if she goes on and on, tubby could fall off her seat there on the spot! Hahahaha!! She made for us chicken wings, hotdogs and wedges which she pronounced at wizels? AHHAHHAHA!! Haaa, what a night to remember. Everyone around there was super uber friendly and approachable. Heh.

We hung out till 1+ I think? No? Ouh I can't remember the time but I do know I reached home at 3 in the morning and only slept until sahur. Was totally totally exhausted. It wasn't surprising that I woke up at 4pm which I quickly took a shower and head out AGAIN. But Saturday outing will be another story for another post. But for now, I'll just share a few of the snapshots we took.
