Outing w Andi 23082008

The whole of sunday have somewhat been a downpour. I woke up at 11 in the morning and it's already so dark and gloomy. And to think that the previous day, I thought of hitting Sentosa before the month of Ramadhan (fasting month) kicks in. Lucky lucky lucky. Yesterday was just as bad too. Raining all day long till late evening when I was out with Andi. Heh. I believed the monsoon season might just come early this year. Hmm...

I got like tonnes and tonnes of snapshots to share. But uhm I'll just do my outing with Andi yesteday first ok? The Frideedaideeday outing I'll do tomorrow and the career fair one, maybe soon. Heeee.

I was at brooding at home until late evening when Andi dropped a call. And I found myself outside on the way meeting the boy within an hour time. Heh. Such haste in getting ready and all, that I forgot to bring my wallet along. The thing is, I remembered to bring my ezlink! Pfffttt. Well, Andi was kind enough to pay for everything first. Cause for sure, I'll pay him back like soon. It has always been like that between two of us. Money issue aside, friendship first that kinda thing. I dare say that 95% of the time, we got each other's back no matter what. I'm proud to label him as my bestie can?! Hahaha!!

We talked our way to Raffles Place, with the topic of where to eat was the main discussions. Absolutely no fast food for us, I'm sick of it already. Then places like Secret Recipe and Swensens were outtof the picture. Cause, I've eaten way too much from those outlets. Then Fig and Olive struck. Dang! I've been wanting to go the one near Dhoby Ghaut. Apparently, Andi didn't know that there was an outlet there. I only knew bout it like months ago. That Fig and Olive has a great ambience, decor and the thing that it's always empty, makes it appealing. So, Fig and Olive it was. It's somewhere along Prinsep Street, at the first story of Somerset Condo. Heh. A really beautiful place to bring a first date maybe? Hahaha!!

Before I forgot, in the train, there was this errm tourist I think? Yeah...he was on sandals and he wore socks! Darn funny! So what did AJ decided to do? As usual, whipped out my trusty Viewty and snapped! And to think that I snapped at this guy's feet with flash!! My goodness!!! People left right and in front of me, opened their eyes like goldfishes saw worms!! Totally embarrassing and I was left biting my lips and Andi laughing!! Luckily the guy had his back turned and didn't notice I was snapping his foot. Hahahaha!!! Alrite alrite, let's not side track and back to story k? Hahah!!

Hungry like "I can eat a bull" hungry, Andi had his Chicken Carbonara Pasta, mine was Fig Cyprus Steak and we had corned beef sandwhich. To down everything, we had some weird beverages. Andi's was Bullwinkle Chocolate and mine was Happy Daze. Bullwinkle was SUPER SWEET!! Then my Happy Daze was strawberry-ish and really made me HAPPY like bird can?! We thoroughly enjoyed our food and got our tummy all bloated up that it was totally unsightly!! Urrgghhh!! Halfway, Andi was already sitting back while chewing his portion. THAT is something you don't see everyday ok. That boy would usually just gobble everything up within minutes. Heeee.

Once we're done, we made our way to Bugis. Rounded up some shops selling really nice shoes and clothes, there's some nice ones which I wanna get but uhhhmmm yeah, I didn't bring wallet so that really helps me from splurging!! Kekeke!! By 10, we just headed back home. I don't know ehh, but all the eating, made us sleepy and tired. Geez. That's my saturday for ya. Pictures time...shall we?
























I'm done here. I need to sleep. Although I ain't sleepy due to the fact that I had a five hours noon nap, I still need to turn in. Early morning tomorrow. Back to the grind of the office as most people put it. Hah. I see office now, as a fun place to be in. With the funny loving colleagues that I had, work is more to fun than work. Heee.
