Outing w Min Lyn Mano 08082008 Gooood midweek my darlings!! Tomorrow is already Thursdee!! Couple more days to the weekend but I'm not THAT looking forward soo much but uhhh, I am looking forward to Sunday!! Hahahha! Saturday, well let's just say I was being chosen as an event photographer for my company. Sheeshh! There's a career fair this coming Saturday at Suntec Convention. Ahuh. And my organization, Sime Darby, will be making a maiden appearance in this kindof event. Pretty exciting huh! Along the way, I've picked up lotsof things. The executives that I'm assisting in the coordination of the whole function are darn hardworking and I've learnt alot actually. Heh. Make sure those of you who are free come down to the fair ok. Buttt, you need to register via jobscentral.com.sg. There's alot of free gift to be given out and please, come and say hi to me. I'll be around only on Saturday until probably early noon. Hehehe!! Before I go into my weekend story telling, there's a couple of things that I found on today's newsread. Both being in relations to the Olympics opening ceremony. I got vibes and echoes from people, mentioning with nose in the air praising the international acclaimed ceremony and then mocking and bringing down the National Day Parade. These people somehow, said that the parade was boring, mundane bla bla bla. Reserving words like magnificent, gorgeous and magic for the olympics. No I'm not trying to diss the olympics here. I've thoroughly enjoyed it. Michael Phelps is an absolute dolphin of a swimmer. He's be given the label of immortality for reaching a 9 gold haul at the olympics. Now THAT's brilliant!! What's not brilliant, is the fact the some of the fireworks during the olympics ceremony were pre-recorded and the singer seen on the stage singing, was lip-synching. AHUH! Recorded fireworks, so that the viewers at home have a theatrical effect, and then use a pretty little girl lip-synching to a girl's melodic voice. Why? Cause the original singer wasn't as cute as the fake singer. Haaa...well when it's all made in China, who expects things to be original right? Sheeesshhh! I rest my case. Now...lemme share the weekends with you'all can?! My previous weekend with my girls went ballistically kekekerazzyyy!!! I couldn't have ask for more luh. With Tubby suffering the effect of overeating, I tell ya this girl ehh...she's a tad quiet before filling up her tummy. Very nonsensical but torlerable. BUT once she's full, that's it!!! She goes in overdrive and drove everyone around her up the wall. Haaa, I don't know how buddy Lyn cope with her 24/7. Met the gurl around 8 at Dhoby Ghaut. 7-11 Dhoby Ghaut aku suruh budak nie tunggu aku, dia gi tunggu kat 7-11 kat HSBC sane. Alamak cekik darah la nie anak. Nasib kau kiut ok! Hahahha!! One big Barney hug we exchanged, it's good to be embraced by a loved one. Heeee. Dinner was at Secret Recipe. I had my usual Pan-grilled catch of the day with lobster sauce while Tubby had her Black Pepper Grilled Chicken. Dinner was served and Tubby made two orders of fries which we ended up tapao-ing for buddy Lyn. Sheesshhh! Tubby2, too hungry ehh?! Hahaha! While we were eating, the table beside us was a occupied by a couple who wears casual. Looks like one of those $5k earners. And they were making request after request after request. Which for me, is quite irritating. First was, the guy asked for servette. Then the lady asked for an extra fork. She asked again for an extra knife. Then they ask to clear the dishes. Grrrr. Tubby and me felt like wanting to slap the yellow out of them teeth luh! Sheesshh!! We went around PS for awhile, Tubby went to look at some GUESS wallets. Taking her own sweet time knowing that he bestie nie kan, tengah kebulur tunggu donut!! Yes yes Lyn was working and haven't had dinner and she asked Tubby to buy donuts. Acknowledged and she still walk around relax. Hahahaha!! Lucky for buddy, the eDonut stall was still open and again TUBBY! She made a mess luh at the shop! Back and forth, back and forth choosing donuts. Die die she wanna pick the sweetest of the sweetest. And the old makcik have to walk around with tubby back and forth just so this favourite brat of mine made up her mind. Haiyaaaa. Hahhhaa!! Well, the night was all summed up at Starbucks Orchard Point. Mano, buddy's friend joined us and we had a thoroughly enjoyable evening I must say. Buddy's friend is a nice boy la. And I can't wait for 4 of us to hang out more in future!! Yess yess!! Tubby became the usual suspect in being bullied. Merajuk and then pujuk diri sendiri. Abe nak say pujuk she go and say puji. Hahahahha!! Haaaa what more can I say. I love my girls. My night ended with Lily though. We met up at Raffles and took the last ride home together. That was a nice ending wasn't it? Hhahha!
