Transformers Outing 11072008

I had one of the best Friday nights of my life yesterday! 24 years of existence and without doing much or spending alot, everything turned out to be a blast yesterday! Yesserreeaayyy!! From being all messed up on the roads to laughing our ass off till late, reminiscing the past which dates back a decade. Now that's alot of ground to cover and one that won't get us bored at all. Hahaha!

Andi, Nas and me. We met up at Dover. Andi was driving and he picked us up and off we went to town. And we made a mess of ourselves along the road trying to get to town evading ERP and stuff. I can't imagine the people driving to work ehh. ERP was simply all over the place. We tried manoeuvering to other small roads but ended STILL paying for ERP. Grrrr. So many gantries!! Sheesshh! We ended up parking at Mt Sohia. Heh.

The plan was to catch Hellboy and everywhere was full. GV, Cathay all fully booked. There are some midnights wee hours morning show, but Nas was working next day and Andi had a 24hr full day previous day. Fatigue was a major factor. We tried luck on Lido and BOOOM! Managed to get Lido1, a big ass theatre! Comfort was a thumbs up but sound quality, I think I prefer Cathay and GV. Much better clarity and ooommpphh!

Hellboy 2 was exceptionally good! The action was high octane. But the one that made the movie, was the humour in it. Hahaahha! Hellboy was being sucha a brat! Imagine hellboy listening to a love song and then sings to it!! Goes up to a villain and talked big, and while walking, he goes sideways cause he was drunk!! HAHHAAHAHHA!! You must catch it ok. A good one. Now now, I can't wait for next week! Dark Knight baby! Dark Knight!! Why sooo saddddd??!?! Wooooottttt!!!

And ouh, before movie, we had family feast for dinner. Yes yes, shared amongst us and it got us bloated and LATE for movie! Grrrr. We were already late and the fact that we can't find parking nearby Shaw was bad enough. We were on that Royal Plaza road and Andi need to make a uturn right, so we ended at the roundabout at Newton AND he took a wrong exit which leads up to a highway to god know where!! Wahhhhhh time check is 925 and movie is 930!! Huahuahua!!

Lucky for us there was an exit somewhere and we found ourselves at the roundabout at Newton AGAIN. This time he drove slowwww and found the exit. The boy was feeling feeling speed racer through the night can? Hahaha! Dumped the car at Far East and RAN to Shaw, collected tickets and sat down feeling all sweaty and tired. Geeez. We didn't miss much though, I think. Heh.

We got ourselves some McCafe after the movie and ended the night at the Singapore Flyer chilling out around there. That's where we just discussed future holiday rendezvous, past life we've all gone thru as friends. Comparing us back then and kids now. I must say and I dare say, that kids my generation, have a much more relax and happier ones. Really. So much change nowadays.

Nonetheless, that was my Fridee night. Mucho loves to both my homeboys for making it happen. I didn't snap that much pics actually. Cause when you're with the best friends, cam whoring is not a priority. Catching up and having fun is. Hahaha! Here's just a few aites. =D
