Outing w LilyDayah 25072008

Unlike my previous weekend rendezvous, this weekend have indeed been a rather productive one. Met a myspace friend for the very first time plus a faboulous sentosa outing with Nas albeit the slight setback due to an hour of drizzle, things could be better but hey, appreciate what we had that others don't right. That's pretty much it. Lemme get into details now. =)

I've known dayah for quite a while actually. Dayah is my myspace friend. And we hadn't been in constant contact until sometime a couple of months back. Online and on cell, we got along pretty well. So meeting her person is something I'm totally looking forward to! No nervousness whatsoever, just total excitement! Heee.

I reached Plaza Singapura at about 7. Still have half an hour to kill so I pretty much went around the mall and planned what to buy for myself next payday. Apparently I'm disappointed at the fact that most of the shops doesn't excite me or made me go “Oooohh I want THAT!!”. So yeahh...while walking, text message from Dayah saying she has already reached PS.

I'm standing there looking down at my cell and replying where I'm waiting for her and stuff when I looked up and saw her walking towards me! Hahahhaa! Lucky she got a good ability to recognise people ehh. I'm wondering what would happen if she got the wrong one. Nyeahhaha!!

Straight off the hook, we got along very very well I must say. I'm impressed with a girl who isn't so shy especially meeting up for a first time. Girls oozing with confidence, damnnn I love these kinds. Hehe!

Dinner was at Secret Recipe. As promised to her a couple of weeks back, I told her I would give her a treat. A belated birthday treat to be exact. The lady's birthday was a couple of weeks back, so no no too little too late aite.

I had my chicken cordon bleu and ice mocha, while Dayah had grilled black pepper chicken. I didn't know that Secret Recipe had changed the look of the chicken cordon. It was huge and chunky! There was so much cheese inside that I got sooo sick of it. I felt the guts in my tummy turning when I tried to take my last bite. Sheeeshhh! No more chicken cordon for me. Not anytime soon. Heh heh.

Wait wait wait!! Something happened before we settled down on our seats. While we were walking towards it, I saw a group of prolly 30 year olds ladies looking at me, well, maybe not me but it was MY direction. What disturbed me was they were smiling and kinda like giggling away. I felt kinda awkward so I turned back to see if they were looking at someone or something behind me. BUT there's nothing funny behind me except Dayah was closely behind me walking that's all.

Our seats were beside them, their stares and smiles became more intense. Then I noticed they were all looking at Dayah soooo I whispered to her, “You, why in the world are the people next to us looking at you and smiling non-stop? Are they your colleagues or something? Go turn luh.”. She turned annddd....

It was Dayah's SISTER luhhh. Haiyo!! This girl walked in and didn't notice her sister was sitting beside her! Can uh like that?! Hahahha!! Finally they all said hellooo and I was all relieved! I thought they were staring at me cause I have some wardrobe malfuntion. First thing I checked was my zippers of course! HAHAHAHA!! What a way to kickoff the date aye. The bonus part is that I am one of the first guy friend that Dayah's sister encountered. Ahhhh how great! Cuckoo AJ can?

By the time we were done with dinner, it was a quarter past nine and we made our way OUT of there. Nothing much to see as most of the shops' shutters are already lowered. Heh. I tell ya, it's really pathetic to close at 9++ cause I think that's the time that MOST people would hit town to destress via shopping and all.

Nonetheless we made our way to chill out thru the night at Merlion. I missed that place. And one more thing what I miss, is the company of buddy Lyn and tubby! Nyehhh. AJ lurp2 you both ok! Like I mentioned, we got there and had Starbucks. I had starbucks, Dayah didn't. Claiming she's bloated already! Hehehe!

We had our chat thruout the night which was crawling away slowly. The deafening silence of the night was accompanied with voices of tourists who got so fascinated with the merlion. Snapping pictures with it, peace signs and all kindof poses. Hahaha! It tickles me, really. I don't feel much wind for the night, which is pretty annoying. One of the reasons the merlion is my favourite hangout place is the cool breeze that frequently engulfed the whole area. But that was absent on Fridee. Geez. Anywhoos, I had a great time disturbing this Dayah who tried to stop me from snapping a picture of her. Hahaha! I didn't manage to snap a willing picture of her. Next time you watch out ok! Huahuahua!

At ten plus plus, one of my most-loved shortys none other than Lily, joined Dayah and me. Her friends went home early. It's Fridee night! Weekends dawning sooooo late hours would be a welcome way to celebrate the forthcoming of the 2 days break right? Hahaha! Lily settled well with Dayah. It's amazing that they both can get along so bloody well and Dayah's already looking forward to more future rendezvous with her. Huhu I just love it when my friends can get along with each other. Kekeke!

It was last train and last bus for 3 of us. I tell ya, I had a wonderful Fridee night. Absolutely LOVES every seconds of it. Thanks to my ladies, I lurp you both!! Let's do this again soon kkk!! Yeahyy!










Back to the grind of work as Monday looms closer. Have a fantastic start to the week my friends snd keep smiling aye. Love ya love ya!! Hugs kisses!! Tatarahhhh!!
