Say A Lil Prayer...

I'm on the cnn website right now and I really can't believe what I'm scrolling thru right now. The quake that had hit China's Sichuan province has notched up a new data, TAKE NOTE OF THIS, a staggering 15000 DEAD and another 26000 buried under debris. 15,000 is the official number but there's also news that the unofficial number is 19,565. This is a total calamity. When mother earth decides to unleash, well pray to GOD you'll be spared.

First the cyclone at Myanmar. Then the quake in China. The world is in need of prayers from everyone more than ever right now. Please my brothers and sisters, put our differences aside shall we, say a prayer or two for those affected. At the very least, ease their pain on their death.

I don't mean to put on a front. But avid readers of my blog and people who know me real well, you guys know right i'm more or less much of a humanitarian kinda person, so please. I call upon all of you, if you wanna say something or offer some words of hopes, please please email me. It's granelyst@gmail.com. I'll post your words and I mean YOUR words, no editing of grammars or whatsoever to my future tribute pose aite.

Geez, when I look at the pictures, it's really not a comfortable sight aye. A pregnant lady being crushed, a young girl in the rubble crying. Haaaa. In a small town of Yingxiu alone, 7700 dead. In a town of Qingchuan, a school collapsed along with 178 students buried. A school in Shifang, 100 kids buried. Imagine the town of Wenchuan which has a total residence of 12,000 and only 3,000 survived!! Soldiers there are digging rubbles by using their bare hands. Geeez. I can literally go on and on about how people there are suffering and how we in singapore are complaining about lacking of these thats and being a spoilt brat all in all. Yeahhh.

I know we can't do much. And if you have the stereotype thinking of "hey its china and not singapore. I'm here alive and and people there dead, injured-so?", shame on ya aye. Again, I'm addressing every single one of you, do say a prayer or two, for all of these people. Be it in China or Myanmar. They don't know you pray for them but GOD knows. Please. Have a good night everyone.
