Sunday at Timbre



Woah I knew this kinda got a lil caught back in time, but I needed to share with so many of you lovely people. Last sunday, as in errm 23rd of March, it was a night out with Nas, Shamimi and Lily! Harry from Power 98 well, out of goodwill decided to present me with 4 exclusive pass for BBQ Blowout with the Djs from Power 98 and other regular listeners as well. Thank you my man!

What a day that turned out to be. Great fun, great food, amazing company and nice eye candy too! Wahahah! Only Simone was the eye candy. Apart from that don't have. Ouh I think Lily can be another candy at Timbre? Okay tak girl? Hahaha! Okay okay people you decide can?! Gimme a yes if the boyfriend is one lucky son of a gun! Hahhaha!



Everyone met up at 6 at City Hall. I came with Nas and Lily while Shamimi waited at City Hall. It has been an awfully long time since I met Shamimi. Last time was last year was it? Hmmm. Nonetheless, it was great seeing you mate! Can't wait to meet again and chill out ok! Hehehe! Ouh while in the train, camera shutters went amok again! :)



We hit on down to Timbre. The weather and my fashion for the day doesn't do justice to me AT ALL. It was humid hot and so uncomfy. Just so you know, I got a 3 piece top going on that day. Just in the name to look the best! And certainly I think I did! So kudos to this fashionista mind!! Hahaha!! Styling anf profiling, well I know people likes to look at me for one reason or the other. So since they like to look, I'll give them something to look at. Jyeah!

Along the way, four of us were in an eager fantastic mood. Kinda like our first time being on national radio event, although it's a small one. Hehehe! We got our ass over at Timbre which is at the corner of armenian street, right about 630pm. The whole thingy hasn't start yet. Greeted by Harry and a couple of smiling people. How nice! I like the first impression that Timbre staffs gave me. Hahaha!

First round, we had some soft drinks to pass by time. Harry was making his rounds ala security personnel to make each and everyone of his guests feeling at home. Of course he did some warm up by taking up the stage and thanked us for coming. Hoho. I love the ambience. Outdoor, non smoky. Feels natural. Cool.




Couple of minutes, our tummies starts to have this sound blasting loudly. Signalling the fact that we need to munch down some nice smelling bbq food soon!! And once Harry mentioned bbq is served, THAT was our queue to grab whatever that's been laid on the table! Hahaha!



Everything was delicious. Each one of us, by 8pm, can't stuff nothing no more. I keep mentioning I want to eat somemore but then I can't. I mean my head wanted to but the body can't. Heh. Shrugs. Drinks were done so we had OUR drinks thereafter. Shamimi had redbull punch, Nas had something which I can't remember, Lily had apple martini which got her high and wanted more(!) while I had my lime virgin margarita which had me spinning and licking the tip of the glass cause there's salt on it!! Nice! Hahahha!




Entertainment were dished out in the form of lucky draws and simple question answer and get goody bags. There was this band called errm Ridge(?) I think. They were ok so so not bad and not good. Best word to describe, typical bar bands. Heh. The only listenable song they sang was Dishwalla's Angels and Devils and Incubus Drive. Apart from that, I think I enjoyed my drink more. Hahhaha!



Once we got done with food & drinks, we left the vicinity for a walkabout thru' the night. Nice and cool and I got hungry! As in maybe not hungry hungry, but just need something to munch on. Hahahha! I still wonder why can't I get FAT! Gahhhh! Stress you know! Prolly just gain weight uh. Fat is something I don't want to describe myself as what I want to be as me being FAT?! Aiyooh the image will be nightmare turned reality kinda thing. Hah. But i'm happy with current body status now so cameras, start rolling!!! We snapped along the way thoughout the night. Gorgeous I must say. The night that is. What were you thinking?!



We walked aimlessly and found ourself as Kopitiam somewhere near Hotel Rendezvous. Nas and I we had banana split!! Nice ok! OK! Hahahha! My intention of eating banana split was to quench thirst but it made me more thirsty! Pfftttt! We headed outside where there was a live telecast of the Manchester United Liverpool game which the red devils (man u) won 3-0. There was this black man, woah he bought one crate of Tiger Beer and carrying one had. His biceps were omg I don't want to pick a fight with you ok!? Sheeessh! Sometimes them being here, made me think, what do they do here in Singapore? Are they some CEO or what? Hmmmffff.



Night was getting late. 3 of the “adults” need to work. This Lily can stay up all morning and wake up at 2 in the afternoon, but we can't so we head home via express 502. Nas managed to sleep, I didn't. For some reason, which I don't wanna elaborate here. Let's just say, the night ended in a way that I love. Hahhhaha! Here's the rest of the day's pic! Well I gotta run for now I must say. Ouh by the way, I had a fantastic Sunday. As in the latest sunday. The fantastic four, we hit Sentosa and it was a blast. I love my photgraphy. I'll share with ya'all soon! Till then, have a wonderful wednesday!!!
